Press Release
The Pierre Part/Belle River Business Group is proud to announce that again this year (2) $500.00 Scholarships will be awarded.
One $500.00 scholarship will be awarded to a 2019 high school graduate or GED recipient from Assumption Parish.
The second $500.00 scholarship will be awarded to someone who is a high school graduate or GED recipient from 2018 or prior, from Assumption Parish, who wishes to further his or her education. The deadline to apply for either scholarship is April 24, 2020.
Any application postmarked after the deadline will not be accepted. Please use the newspaper application to apply. Any questions should be directed to Joann Leal at 985-369-5021. Applications must be sent through the mail to the following address:
